Artist Statement

This piece is dedicated to the thousands of Central American children that are being targeted from all sides. They can't stay home because of the violence and not wanted where they are going. Children are being treated as disposable items. Mixed media, using fabric, string, markers, wire, color pencils,embossed velum, and acrylic paint. Fabrics are hand dyed using bleeding tissue paper, hand stitched applique, and Turkey work stitches are also used for texture. — carocrafts@hotmail.com Ofori
