Artist Statement

The amount of languages spoken by everyone living within our borders makes America great. According to the Census, there are at least 350 languages represented. In Los Angeles, my hometown, at least 185 languages are spoken. With no official language, America reflects its history, population, and wonderful mix of cultures that make this nation great. — Daisy Patton
