Artist Statement

I wanted to create a simple piece that really allowed the words "endless opportunity" to speak for themselves. The imagery of the ocean that I used inspired "a sea of," ultimately creating a pun, which is never a bad thing, in my opinion. I also chose to use a cool toned palette by color matching the text to shades of aqua within the photograph. Overall, the idea of "endless opportunity" is supposed to represent the American Dream. — Marissa Molitor
