Artist Statement

In recent times, divisive speech has become far too common. I was looking for ideas on a positive design when I saw an image of New Zealand's Prime Minister hugging a muslim women after the shooting there. The way their bodies were shaped looked like a heart. I modified it to make it into American context. - Jake Van Yahres
