"I've overcome many obstacles," says Linda. Linda has conquered her disability by focusing on her many talents. "It was a dream of mine to paint," she says. Linda live in Ann Storck Center's Gizmo House and participates in the Fine Arts Program. Linda's passion for art is so strong, that she began taking additional art classes outside ASC, to maximize her time painting and improve her skills.  Linda enjoys the process of creating art and loves the studio environment. Her painting style is delicate, using gentle and muted colors, with carefully selected brushstrokes revealing her true sensitive nature. Linda's life motto is, "If you don't have dream, you don't have anything."

The power to create, communicate and be heard is an ability that many of us take for granted and too many others are disregarded as unable. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Ann Storck Center, to promote ability and inclusion for the disabled community by focusing on ability: creative ability.
