Emily Vriesman Emily Vriesman Payne is an aspiring social justice artist. Her passion is to design and create art that positively impacts our communities, neighborhoods, our country, and our world. Diversity and representation are two things she is very passionate about. All people (especially kids) deserve to see positive role models around them that look like them, that they can aspire to be like and relate to. She highlights these unsung heroes to broaden all of our horizons, but especially our friends of color that don?t get to see people like them portrayed in a positive light near as often.

Artist Statement

Feminism should be intersectional, or nothing at all. We must fight for women of all races, all experiences, all sexual orientations, and all backgrounds. Trump wants to keep women silent. We must rise up as women against his divisive rhetoric. — Emily Vriesman
