Once Upon a time, a girl started her journey to become a graphic designer. She is currently studying at the Robert Busch School of Design at Kean University. While she is not learning about the field she intends to pursue as a career, she is taking classes in theater, mentoring young freshmen in their first year as a college student, taking photographs with the Photography Club on campus, and spending time with her family. She loves many forms of art and hopes to continue to do what she loves for as long as fate will let her.

Artist Statement

When I think of Grimm's Fairy Tales, there are a few things that immediately pop into my head: Cinderella's glass slipper, the apple that poisoned Snow White, and a castle. Each of these items, while iconic, have also been used time and again. What I decided to do was combine these elements in a way where they were part of the cover, but not the main focus. The gray background is reminiscent of a castle. The apple and glass slipper were used as parts of the stained glass window that is the main image on the cover. — Teresa Lleras
