Artist Statement

This is Alawa, an ambassador wolf at the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY. She is one of the wolves who helps children and other interested people learn the truth about her wild kin. This image shows her emerging into the light, to symbolize how she brings the light of knowledge to humankind. — Anthony Chiffolo
