Artist Statement

"To come from a Native American background, gives me so much pride in my culture. I support the Standing Rock Sioux tribe who is struggling to protect their sacred land that has been a cultural aspect for hundreds of years. The government is constructing a major pipeline that would spoil the water source within tribal lands. Lets stand together and support the indigenous people of the Great Plains." - Dylan Day

Dylan Day is currently a student at the Art Institute of California - Orange County studying Graphic and Web Design.

About Power to the Poster

Power to the Poster seeks poster designs that are catalysts for change. They challenge where we've been and set a course for where we could go. It is our hope we add to the dialogue of what is next for America and the world. Launched in 2011 by Justin Kemerling.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
