Artist Statement

As a native Californian, I see the beauty in an arid landscape. Death Valley is an extreme place - dry and hot, with jagged canyons and salty plains. Visiting Death Valley is like a trip to Mars - it's so unlike populated cities that it seems alien. ‰ÛÓ Elizabeth Beier
