Artist Statement

"Bruce and Scott Sink first visited Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve in 2005 while Scott was attending the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Bruce was inspired to complete a watercolor painting of the iconic red buildings of Kennecott Copper Mine from the photographs they took on that Alaskan blue sky day in August. In 2016, Scott and his wife returned to the ghost town in the middle of the largest national park in the United States of America to explore massive Root Glacier." - Bruce and Scott Sink

Bruce and Scott Sink are a father-son artistic duo that live in Chandler, Arizona and Cheyenne, Wyoming respectively. Since Scott was born in 1983, as a family they have traveled to many public lands across the United States of America, particularly throughout Alaska. Bruce is a professional watercolor painter and Scott is an outdoor travel writer, so they both found the campaign to See America appealing.

About See America

See America is reviving the legacy of the New Deal arts projects by building a new collection of posters celebrating our shared natural landmarks and treasured sites. Proceeds support National Parks Conservation Association, the independent, nonpartisan voice working to strengthen and protect our nation’s natural, historical, and cultural heritage.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
