Artist Statement

Even though I grew up in a country at a time when homosexuality was both illegal and a social taboo, I could never understand as to why anyone should have jurisdiction over who one could love and marry. While many challenges still lie ahead for the LGBTQIA community, I am glad that here in the US, they are at the very least able to marry the person they love. — Aditi Raychoudhury
