Maria Beadell

I am a teacher by day and artist by night! I paint mainly portraits in oils, acrylics and sometimes mixed media. My style is figurative, inspired by the the work of the Pre-raphaelites, surrealism, pop art. I take my subject matter from everyday life, topical issues, feelings and emotions. My work is often deeply personal. I also do public commissions and murals.
