I come from a family of artists. As a child, I wanted to be an artist when I 'grew up'. I lost my way in my youth and rediscovered as an adult that I am most happy and fulfilled when I am creating. I love to find the spectacular in the ordinary and the hilarity in the mundane. I work in a variety of mediums. My mediums have changed over the years as the number (and age) of my children have grown. Combining original watercolor paintings and digital art is my current poison.

I turn ordinary watercolor blots into imaginative art. This unicorn was made using a few lines and an assortment of random watercolor blots. — Natalie Dobson
