Artist Statement

This poster updates the famous work of American illustrator Lester Beall for a new generation. His public service announcements were made in conjunction with the Works Protection Agency, a New Deal-era government agency that employed designers and creatives of all types to use their skills to raise awareness for the work of the U.S. Government. This poster updates the concept to reflect the fact that farms across the United States have the potential to generate their own power through clean, renewable energy like solar panels and windmills. — Kyle Werstein
