Artist Statement

Glacier Bay is located in Alaska. While I've never been there personally, the research I did made me think it was almost magical how much wildlife is located beneath the icy surface of the bay! I wanted to convey this sense of magic through a whimsical character design, combining the bay itself with a whale, since Glacier Bay is known for being a whale sanctuary. - Kim Tupas
