Recovering The Classics is a crowdsourced collection of original book covers for some of the greatest works in the public domain, where anyone can contribute.
For this cover I started with a blind contour drawing and went back in and added the scribble lines to up the creep factor. I took heavy inspiration from the drawings done by Kurt Werth in the book series "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark". - Joey Winton
