Artist Statement

This poster was created to celebrate the diverse patchwork of neighborhoods that make San Francisco such a uniquely world-class city. The format references the seven square mile dimensions of the city, and the color scheme pays homage to the different shades of orange that reveal themselves when the Golden Gate Bridge is viewed at various times throughout the day. — Jim Schaaf
