I am a illustration designer based in Los Angeles. I was born in Taiwan and grew up there. I came to US when I was 10 and met my first wild animal in NH. I am inspired by the exploration and language of life, the little and big moments that resonates with me. My work often involves anthropomorphic animals and objects as a way of storytelling from a humorous and charming perspective. My goal is to make the world smile.

Artist Statement

The piece that I made is a representation of Mission Dolores. Having lived in the Mission District, the name has always been meaningful to me. On top of this, the architectural symbolism of Mission Dolores is prominent for the people of Bay Area, holding cultural and religious meanings. The piece is made with papers and graphite, and Photoshop. — Ivy Chang
