Shannon Anderson Most of my work centers on typography and hand-drawn type, incorporating quotes and words into images that help raise awareness of the most pressing social issues we face today. I believe art is a powerful way to gain the public's attention, which I hope can lead to discussion, action, and ultimately, change.

Artist Statement

I created this piece because the Muslim Ban is an issue that needs to be addressed. Not only is this ban turning bigotry and hatred into policy, it is also rationalizing a fear that many people in this country already had. A fear that is unfounded. This piece is me saying, I stand with you, and will continue to fight this ban. - Shannon Anderson
