Artist Statement

Pullman National Monument was established February 2015 to commemorate the Historic Pullman District in Chicago, IL. Much of Chicago's financial success can be traced to its railway history and the historic Pullman Porters. This illustration unifies the historic structure, and the workers who serviced the trains. ‰ÛÓ Ginnie McKnight
