Artist Statement

Every year I do some sort of art for Pride. This year, I was reflecting on my role as an educator. Harvey Milk's words, "You got to give them hope," from his iconic “hope” speech at the 1977 Gay Freedom Day kept coming back to me. - Christopher Wachter
