Currently I am a Senior at Kutztown University looking to apply to an M.F.A program in Communication Design. Illustrating and Printmaking (traditional Etching and Screen Printing) are what I specialize in and wish to further pursue. I feel creating a hybrid from old school crafts to modern technology personalizes and adds a unique feel to the finished work. Aside from my studies I freelance as well as craft handmade paper at White Crow Studio in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.

Artist Statement

Utilizing traditional and digital techniques brings more freedom to my work. In this piece I used india ink, water color, and Adobe Illustrator to compose it. I wanted to create a representation of a meat packing worker as if they themselves were made up of different cuts of meat. — Francesco Tornabene
