Chris Arnold is an Artist, Illustrator and Educator from the Midwest, born in 1977. He received a BFA degree in Studio Art from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2002, and his MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007. He currently resides in Chicago, IL working as an independent artist as well as an Assistant Professor of Illustration at Columbia College Chicago.

For over two decades Chris has been breaking new ground with his award-winning fine art and illustration. His objective is to make a real connection with his viewers through the use of both long-established and innovative visual methods, fresh stylization, as well as an exhausting level of research and development. This investigation is used in conjunction with a wide range of technology, cultural media and an open sharing of ideas.

Chris has been featured in over a dozen one-man shows, published in a variety of commercial and has had work showcased around the world. He loves what he does and considers himself lucky to be able to make a living from a passion he would do for free.
