Carmela La Gamba Bode is an artist and art educator on Long Island, New York. After graduating from the Cooper Union School of Art, she worked as a calligrapher and graphic designer. Later, she attended Hunter College for a Masters in education and currently teaches art on the elementary and secondary levels. She has exhibited at the Cooper Union, The National Arts Club in New York and at Briarcliffe College on Long Island.
