I'm a work at home mom and wife; a photographer, graphic designer, calligrapher, babysitter, knitter, and anything else that will keep me out of a cubicle while also supporting my family. I believe in working with my hands and that you are never to old to learn something new. I earned a black belt at 39 and at age 40 started working as a mosaic artist.

Artist Statement

Immigrants are what make America great! All of us, save our native citizens, are immigrants in this land even if you have to go back many generations to find them. We can be proud of our ethnic differences in the sense that all of our experiences and cultural pride collectively contribute to the awesomeness that is American culture and experience. - Katie McMurry
