Artist Statement

Because this story is centered on the story of Satan's fall from heaven and his influence in the original sin, I wanted the focus of the cover to be on the aftermath of Eve eating the forbidden fruit, with snake-like imagery throughout. This ultimately was a multimedia piece that included the use of inks, paints, photography, and digital rendering. My goal was for it to look antiquated, so I styled it as a leather-bound book, and the gold and silver lettering and details in the image would resemble pressed metallic ink. - Alyssa Rousonelos
