Artist Statement

Hundreds died on both sides in the Battle of Little Bighorn, fought June 25-26, 1876. Warriors of several tribes battled men of the 7th Regiment of the U.S. Cavalry. This poster shows part of the sculpture in the Indian Memorial at the park. ‰ÛÓ Jane Rohling
