Originally from the Great North Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I graduated from Kutztown University in 2011 with Advertising and Web concentrations. Shortly after graduation I took up an apprenticeship at Reebok in Canton, MA working on apparel graphics. I now live in Jacksonville, FL at Fanatics designing Fanatics Branded apparel graphics. When I'm not making t-shirts look cool, I spend most of my time reading comics, road/mountain biking, and spending quality time with my wife and 3 amazing little dudes.

Artist Statement

I chose Columbia STS-1 because it was the first official mission for the Columbia spacecraft. The spacecraft orbited the Earth 37 times over the course of only 54 and a half hours in space. Although this wasn't the most exciting of the manned space missions, it was the beginning of the Space Shuttle program that would not only captivate me and millions of kids like me, but helped kickstart my obsession with everything beyond our tiny blue home. — Brian Folchetti
