Artist Statement

Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge covers 3.5-million acres, including more than 2,500 islands which provide summer homes for 40-million nesting seabirds. Horned puffins, like those in the acrylic painting, are only one of many bird species, which also include red-legged kittiwakes, Aleutian terns, tufted puffins, and several species of auklets. ‰ÛÓ Bruce and Scott Sink
