Artist Statement

A minimal-gestalt rendition of an alpha wolf's face, created using the most fundamental and recognizable features of it's facial structure and fur pattern. It represents the wolf in a form of raw beauty, and mystique. The contrasting geometric and organic lines are a metaphor of tension between nature and modern man. As all things must eventually fade away into time, this weather-worn poster exemplifies the resilience of The Alpha, standing as a guardian against the erosion of modern industrialization. Without our efforts to preserve the wolf, it's fight may be over faster than we can imagine. — Eric Steinert
