Big Bend National Park in the U.S. state of Texas has national significance as the largest protected area of Chihuahuan Desert topography and ecology in the United States.

Oil painting runs deep in Bryan's family, going back multiple generations. After many years of suggestions to take up the pursuit, he gave it a try in January 2013. After his first year painting, he loves it and continues to expand his perspectives with oil techniques and photography.
