Artist Statement

For this design, the themes of enlightenment and the beautiful geography of India begged to be highlighted, so that\'s what I focused on. I depicted the most important elements of the journey of enlightenment in the book, including the Buddhist Wheel of Life and the lama\'s River of the Arrow. The vast landscape emphasizes the sense of wonder and adventure, and showcases the main appeal of the story best. — Cassidy Kapson
