Artist Statement

Against athletes, nations, ideas, and systems; Jesse Owens captivated the crowds in Berlin with his 4 gold medals at the 1936 Olympic Games. This quote of his is humbling and powerful. Anyone who focuses on the good when surrounded by so much evil is worth listening to. Hope you enjoy this little piece and choose to something beautiful today, regardless of what surrounds you. — Orion Pahl
