Artist Statement

Chugach National Forest stretches across south-central Alaska, encompassing most of the islands of scenic Prince William Sound. The watercolor painting is based on a photo of a pod of orcas taken in Pony Cove near Seward. Other marine mammals common in Prince William Sound include humpback whales, Steller sea lions, Dall‰۪s porpoises, sea otters, and minke whales. ‰ÛÓ Bruce and Scott Sink
