Artist Statement

The cover was made in Photoshop and has three elements to it that are relevant to the story: 1) The main image is of a silhouetted traditional pram with a Crow resting on it. The story begins with Peter at a very young age whic is represented by the pram- and the crow represents the fact that \'all infants are part bird\' and is Solomon Caw - the crow who informs peter that he is no longer a bird. 2) The green represents the traditional Peter Pan green. 3) The sky background that makes up the letters in Peter Pan are a nod towards Peter\'s ability to fly and the potential of Neverland, beyond Kensington Gardens. — Simon Velk
