Artist Statement

This poster showcases the importance of equal pay amongst all genders.  Using Illustrator, I designed this simplistic poster to send a message that it is only right for all genders to be paid equally when doing equal work. I used a crisp Sans Serif font and simple vectors of a man and woman to show that they are on the same, equal playing field. I designed this poster because I believe it is important to use your voice for any cause that you believe in, and being a woman I am very passionate about this movement. I am hopeful that this poster will have an impact and cause the viewers to take a moment and question why this topic is even in question. — Laura Wells
