Artist Statement

It baffled me when Sen. Ted Cruz asked Sen. Barbara Boxer if she would consider restricting the First Amendment by banning certain books the same way she was proposing to ban certain guns. Except that we do restrict free speech - you can't yell fire in a crowded theater, someone could get hurt. And we already do restrict gun ownership - you can't buy a rocket launcher for example, someone could get hurt. We (the people, legislators, the courts) draw all sorts of lines and change them all the time. — Aaron Perry-Zucker
