Where humans go, so do gardens. They are crucial for life, and will certainly be part of our long-term space explorations. For oxygen, for food, for healthy life off of Earth, space pioneers will bring all manner of living things with them. This mission badge seeks to embody the spirit and ambition of NASA's deployable Vegetable Production System (VEGGIE) currently working on the ISS. My work seeks to highlight this important detail, and reimagine what space exploration looks like. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/station/research/experiments/383.html#summary — Joe Wirtheim
