We're doubling down! From now through December 15th, to show our appreciation for our community of amazing, hardworking artists and activists, we're giving back twice our usual contribution to our cause partners -- organizations like Everytown for Gun Safety, Earthjustice, Anti-Defamation League, National Parks Conservation Association and many more.
This means that when you shop at CAN, you're doing twice as much good with every purchase, while getting your holiday shopping done! Plus, this holiday season, we're offering free shipping on all U.S. orders over $50.
Check out some of Team CAN's favorite gift ideas, and give gifts that give back!
2018 has been quite a year! It's time to give thanks (and gifts!) to the hardworking community organizers and activists who've worked so hard for everyone during the last 365 days. They've buoyed our spirits and encouraged us to keep moving forward, day in and day out, with seemingly tireless passion. Those people rock and they deserve a special shoutout this holiday season!
Everyone knows that books make fantastic gifts (and everyone knows that next year is 2019!) so we think our artist community-designed books and calendars should be on everyone's shopping list. This year we curated a selection of our favorite designs from our See America and What REALLY Makes America Great campaigns, and we couldn't be happier with the resulting books and calendars. They're a celebration of our national parks and everything else that REALLY makes America great!
2018 was another Year of the Woman. As women and girls around the world continue to lead and unite like never before, let's celebrate empowerment with gifts that really mean something this holiday season! We've got made-in-the-USA goods, designed by female artists, and proceeds support incredible women's organizations like UltraViolet. Let's get shopping, people! (In other words: we already have a wage gap; let's try not to have a gift gap too!)
There's no better gift than visiting one of our beautiful national parks, monuments and seashores! 'Visit' for the holidays with Team CAN's collection of vintage-inspired national park posters, wall art, apparel and more, designed by independent artists. And don't forget our See America book and 2019 wall calendar! Products are printed in the USA and proceeds support the National Parks Conservation Association.
In a pickle because you've got red-state AND blue-state guests for the holidays? We hear you! Sure, we all love our families, but spending quality holiday time with anyone who owns -- and proudly wears -- a MAGA hat can be tough! (Especially when they're related to you.) Lucky for you, we've got a great selection of harmless books, tees and mugs for those folks you just don't get, but still love anyway. Our gifts are designed by independent artists and proudly made in the USA.
Our Green New Deal campaign premiered on March 14, 2019 in Washington D.C., at Bold V. Old, a daylong convening where speakers including Stacey Abrams, Cory Booker and Kamala Harris discussed bold ideas for our biggest problems, including the Green New Deal. On March 16 In Oakland, CA, Creative Action Network joined artists and activists at the Green New Deal Create-A-Thon, where youth artists from the Sunrise Movement and others worked on new designs for the collection. Youth activist Rio says that after seeing videos of Greta Thunberg leading student climate strikes in Europe, “me and my sister were empowered to make some sort of difference.” Rio and his sister Maddy recently rose to internet stardom when their student group confronted Senator Feinstein about the Green New Deal a few weeks ago. Maddy says she is now “trying to make my voice be more heard, go to marches, and more creative stuff, definitely!”
