Kevin Banatte is co-founder of The South, a political brand where unapologetic black culture defines political power through apparel and strategic campaign consulting. He began his political journey at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. From his work with the Dream Defenders, and their mobilization after the acquittal of George Zimmerman, to working with the American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations, and leading legal justice digital campaigns at FWD.us: Kevin has empowered and focused his creativity towards amplifying campaigns and shifting narratives to empower marginalized communities.
