Predominantly a poet, Ann enjoys exploring wild places and using them as artistic inspiration. She spent eight months at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and four months at Hovenweep National Monument as a Student Conservation Association intern. Her poems have been published or are forthcoming in Flyway: Journal of Writing and Environment; Natural Bridge; and poecology.org
