Artist Statement

I wanted to showcase the beauty of Great Smoky Mountains national park by exaggerating its blue hues with a complimentary color scheme and highlighting its most popular inhabitant, the black bear. I draw strictly traditionally, and for this piece, all of the line work was done with ink (including the typography) and all color was added in Photoshop. -Katelyn Gilland
