Artist Statement

I’ve decided to create this illustration as a necessity to express my vicinity to all the people that everyday form Africa are forced to undertake the most difficult and painful journey of their lives. Women, children’s and mans, fight with the see and the cold to get the chance of a better life. A lots of immigrants arrive everyday on the italian costs. As an italian I felt necessary to make a visual comment of this is issue which unfortunately ends up too many times in tragedy. — michela buttignol
