Artist Statement

Theodore Roosevelt went to Dakota Territory to hunt bison in 1883. His adventure in this remote place helped shape a conservation legacy that we still benefit from today. Abundant native grasses feed wildlife from bison to villages of prairie dogs. ‰ÛÓ Jane Rohling
