Artist Statement

I wanted to focus on Mina Harker and how she is fundamental to the story of Dracula. I wanted to portray her coming from the darkness of the castle and being made somewhat out of bats, as she's been doomed by Dracula to become a vampire(should she die). Yet despite this, she uses her newly developed telepathic abilities to help bring Dracula down. She's a strong character who's directly linked to Dracula himself, and I wanted to portray her power over the entire story through this cover. — Megan Brady
